I'm running my raspbian webserver and my windows 10 box on the same home network. I'm running your dns utility from the windows box. Is that sufficient?

You can also set up DDClient at https://www.dynu.com/DynamicDNS/IPUpdateClient/DDClient on your Linux machine if you want to.
